2023-2024 PROGRAM
2023-2024 Brought an increase of 261% from our previous year as we reached 172 kids total for the year! This meant 172 children were able to learn life lessons, personal safety information and learn how they can become successful in the future! KidSmartz, described below, was the focus of our program attendees between the ages of 6-11 while our teenaged kids learned about healthy habits, opportunities for their future and how their decisions today can impact their future.
KidSmartz
Kidsmartz is a child safety program that educates youth and families about preventing abduction and abuse and empowers kids in grades K-5 to practice safer behaviors. The most important takeaway from this summer was the four rules of KidSmartz and I can tell you each child that participated could recall these rules by the end of the summer!

2023 Program
This year we were able to take a more hands on approach to the program and members of our board were able to teach and run the programs!
​
We were able to teach our 6-11 year-old participants about healthy habits while hosting a daily activity to get them moving!
​
Our teens were able to get back into the classroom and learn about financial management, career and college planning and many beneficial financial security building ways in the Money Matters program.

Past Completed Programs
In year one we were able to reach 5 kids to get our program started while in year two we were able to help 29 children! Year three we found 20 kids in our partnership that we were able to help and in our fourth year we continued to grow to 66 children. The hard work and great programs in our early years helped us to get to where we are today!

Each program taught them skills and knowledge they can carry with them throughout their lives and will have an impact on their future.

Plus the shoes each kid received really helped each of them get the next school year literally started off on the right foot!
